Pointstreak to host scores, stats

The North American Hockey League announced today that the scores and statistics of its Midget Showcase Series will be hosted online by Pointstreak.

Scores and statistics of the three-event tournament, which begins this week from September 20-23 at the Schwan Super Rink in Blaine, Minn., can be found on the left-side navigation menu of www.nahlmidgetshowcase.com (Scores & Statistics).

"Pointstreak has been a valued partner of the NAHL for many years and we're excited to incorporate its unparalleled statistical services into our Midget Showcase Series," said NAHL commissioner Mark Frankenfeld.

The first leg of the NAHL Midget Showcase series will take place in conjunction with the NAHL Showcase Tournament.  Thirty teams - 20 Midget Major and 10 Midget Minor – will compete in the event.

The other two Midget Showcase Series events will take place in Chesterfield, Mo., from December 13-16, and Ann Arbor, Mich., from February 15-18, 2008.
